KARNAPHULI RIVER WASTE MANAGEMENT CELL LTD.

Karnaphuli River Waste Management Cell Ltd. (KRWMC) stands as one of the most prestigious and important maritime waste management institutions in Bangladesh. It is located in the heart of Chittagong Port, established in 2005 following the guidelines of MARPOL Convention. The first batch of students appeared in the waste collection examination in 1962. Subsequently, with much regardless of the examination, it was converted into a certified operation and renamed as "Karnaphuli River Waste Management Cell Ltd" and introduced for the first time in Bangladesh in 1986 on 1st January 2013. The school operates in two shifts i.e. English version and Bengali version are considered one of the renowned waste management services in Bangladesh. The school has been honored by the Bangladesh Government for this achievement by granting a contract in recognition of port services. Established 19 years and 10 months ago, the company is currently operated by highly educated and skilled experienced staff in a healthy environment, spacious and attractive buildings and in large area affording the best facilities with modern equipment. Accordingly education and discipline, which indicate the motto of the service discipline, education and character.
